Nursing Assistant/Home Health Care Program
The Nursing Assistant / Home Healthcare Aide is a trained healthcare professional who can work in many different care settings. Taylor College’s certificate program is designed for students who want to receive training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to take the Florida Board of Nursing Nursing Assistant Certification Examination and pursue entry level employment in the field.
Training to Become a CNA
Students in the program participate in both classroom learning and supervised clinical experience. Clinical training takes place at an approved nursing facility under the guidance of an instructor. After earning certification, graduates may seek entry level positions in a variety of healthcare environments.
