Through collaboration with leading employers and industry partners, we connect our students’ education to the real-world needs of employers in the region.
These strategic partnerships allow TC to provide students with practical experience, access to modern equipment, and clear pathways into in-demand careers. At the same time, they enable local employers to engage with emerging talent and address critical workforce needs. Together, Taylor College and its partners are creating opportunities that benefit students, businesses, and the community as a whole.
Heart of Florida Health Center
Taylor College partners with Heart of Florida Health center, one of the largest and most trusted healthcare providers, to support students pursuing healthcare careers and to help meet the growing demand for compassionate, skilled caregivers in Marion County.
Through this partnership, Taylor College presents qualified students in our Medical Assisting program for interviews with Heart of Florida. Selected students receive a tuition scholarship in exchange for an employment commitment with Heart of Florida Health Center upon program completion. This collaboration creates a direct pathway from education to employment, supports students financially as they pursue their training, and helps Heart of Florida continue delivering exceptional healthcare services to the communities it serves.
VITAS
Together, Taylor College and VITAS Healthcare are strengthening the local healthcare workforce and creating pathways to sustainable careers. As the demand for hospice services continues to rise, VITAS is addressing the need for qualified nursing professionals by investing in educational support through tuition funding to students in our Practical Nursing and Professional Nursing programs.
This collaboration supports both workforce development and community healthcare needs by preparing job-ready professionals and helping healthcare employers fill critical staffing shortages.
