Adult/Pediatric CPR, AED, & FIRST AID

The Adult/Pediatric CPR, AED, & FIRST AID course is open to the public and incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, and back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims of all ages. Students who complete this course will receive American Red Cross 2-year certification.

Continuing Education courses are excluded from accreditation with the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, ABHES, and licensing from the Commission for Independent Education, CIE.

Certification

Once a student has completed the online portion of the course, they will receive a certificate of completion. Upon completion of the on-campus clinical skills assessment, the student will receive a 2-year certification from the American Red Cross.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be given for non-credit courses. If a course is cancelled by Taylor College, students have an option of enrolling into the next available course or receiving a full refund.
