Library

The on-campus library is available to all Taylor College students and graduates. Library hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Electronic Library

In addition to our on-campus library, students and graduates also have access to Taylor College’s electronic library through the Library and Information Resources Network (LIRN). LIRN is a consortium of electronic resources and databases that gives students access to a huge amount of peer-reviewed, academic journals and articles, as well as other resources like e-books and instructional videos (log-in information is provided at orientation).

Students and graduates have 24/7 access to Taylor College’s electronic library available through LIRN.

Nursing and PTA Labs

Our on-campus nursing and physical therapist assistant labs provide our students with hands-on training opportunities with state-of-the-art equipment and other materials necessary to succeed in the field of healthcare. As part of the core curriculum in all our Diploma and Associate Degree programs, time spent in the lab is required for all instructors and students. The nursing lab is located in Room 201 and the PTA lab is located in Room 202.

Aside from lab time for classes, we also encourage students to spend quality time outside of class in the labs provided. For this reason we have developed the Outside of Class Laboratory Practice Policy with a set amount of hours being scheduled each week to allow students to practice skills and modalities. Open lab times and sign-up sheets for students are posted outside the lab door and can be arranged with your Program Director.
